Janie Palmer, owner of Quick Bookkeeper Incorporated, was bitten by the accounting bug back in 1977. She found it fascinating to be a detective and put the "case" together. Debits and credits made sense to her as she saw them as mirror images.

She pursued a career in accounting and worked her way up into a big cpa firm.  There were 9 cpa's and 17 bookkeepers. 

QuickBooks software really kicked off with its 1999 version, and soon businesses were purchasing it left and right. They too were tired of all the hand writing involved when it came to record keeping and taxes.  Without a true understanding of the chart of accounts, QuickBooks became confusing to use.

The "clean up" work performed by accountants left business owners with a hefty accounting bill.  Tax professionals were frustrated with the messy QuickBooks files.  Reallocating the activity for an entire year was exhausting. There seemed to be a link missing between accountants and their clients. CPA's don't have time for hand holding, and businesses don't understand accounting and/or QuickBooks software.

The opportunity was there, so Quick Bookkeeper Incorporated began doing business in February 2001.  Since then, we have helped many businesses with their needs by providing them with our QuickBooks training, bookkeeping, and payroll services.
